The free service offered by the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt provides basic information on German immigration and residence law. It is ideal for anyone who employs foreign skilled workers or wants to support people with a migration background in dealing with authorities and integrating into the labor market.

The training series consists of six modules that can be combined individually:
- Basics of residence law and access to the labor market
- Training and employment toleration
- Legal basics and labor market access for EU migrants
- Skilled Worker Immigration Act
- Right of residence based on opportunity & right of residence
- Settlement permit and naturalization
Organization
- Individual module selection: Combine the topics that are relevant to you. We offer a maximum of 2 modules per day with a break between modules. A maximum of 2 training days are possible per institution.
- On-site training: We come to you and train groups of at least 8 participants directly on site, nationwide! All we need is a presentation facility.
- Digital: All training modules can also be held online via MS TEAMS on request.
- Practical & interactive: With case studies, selected exercises, and a handout with working aids.
Target group information
The training format is a basic offering. The pilot phase has shown that decision-makers such as immigration authorities and employment agencies require in-depth legal training expertise that goes beyond the scope of this offering. Due to differing competence requirements, resource utilization, and expectations, we therefore ask that you make use of other offerings.
