Photographs, video recordings, and audio recordings are made during our events. We use these recordings for publicrelations and documentation purposes in connection with the respective event.
The legal basis for processing is Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR.
Our legitimate interest lies in providing information about the content of our events as part of our public relations work, drawing attention to our offerings and future events, and raising awareness of our work.
The recordings may be used in particular

- in our digital and printed informational materials (e.g., newsletters, event reports, brochures),

In addition, recordings made during public events may be shared with media representatives (e.g., print, online, and broadcast editorial teams) for editorial reporting as part of our press and public relations work. Participating partner
institutions and collaborating companies may also receive selected image and audio material to report on the joint event.
