The advisors at the KAUSA regional office in Saxony-Anhalt, "ZuSA," are the first point of contact for young people from abroad who are interested in vocational training in Saxony-Anhalt. ZuSA also supports small and medium-sized enterprises as well as larger companies that offer training or are interested in doing so.
There is a special visa procedure for young people from abroad who come to Germany for vocational training. Information on the requirements and the procedure can be found on the make-it-in-germany.de portal.
Refugees who have temporary leave to remain or whose asylum application has been rejected have the opportunity to obtain a residence permit for the entire duration of their training with a training permit. The immigration authorities are the central point of contact for checking the requirements and issuing training permits.
