Review: Networking and information event in the Burgenland district

On Thursday, 12 October 2023, a networking and information event was held in Weißenfels on the topic of recruiting and securing skilled workers. It was organised by Strukturentwicklungs- und Wirtschaftsfördergesellschaft Burgenlandkreis mbH, the employment agency and the town of Weißenfels and was aimed at companies that wanted to find out about new potential for securing skilled workers.

The Saxony-Anhalt WelcomeCentre took part with a presentation on the topic of recruiting and securing skilled workers from abroad. Specifically, the input dealt with the success factors for the successful entry and integration of foreign skilled workers to and in Saxony-Anhalt. In the second part of the event, the participating company representatives were able to find out about support services offered by various institutions and projects at information stands. The Saxony-Anhalt WelcomeCentre was represented with an information stand and held discussions with companies from various sectors, including IT, care and logistics.
