Our online forum for returnees on 17 June 2024 was a complete success! Returnees and newcomers from all over Germany and even from Switzerland, Italy and Ukraine gathered virtually to exchange experiences and share valuable tips for living and working in Saxony-Anhalt.
Highlights of the event:
- Exchange of experiences: Our participants reported on their reasons for moving to Saxony-Anhalt. Reasons included proximity to family, attractive jobs or studying.
- Networking: The forum also offered the opportunity to get to know each other and network.
- Challenges: Topics such as obtaining a visa, building a network and dealing with authorities were discussed in depth.
- Support: We presented our services, including a welcoming culture, family friendliness and special advisory services offered by the WelcomeCenter and the specialist advisory service.
We were particularly pleased about the participation of returnees from federal states such as Baden-Württemberg and Hesse as well as new arrivals from abroad.
We look forward to the next event and to continuing our lively dialogue!
