“Strategies for Argumentation and Action in Times of a Shift to the Right”—under this title, the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt hosted an online seminar on March 19, 2025. Approximately 30 activists and interested participants discussed approaches to actively and confidently countering group-focused hostility. The event was led by education officer Christopher Grobys.
The focus was on an interactive format in which participants first examined together what the so-called “shift to the right” is and in what forms it manifests. Furthermore, fundamental strategies for argumentation and action against right-wing slogans and hostility were not only presented but also put into practice.
The seminar clearly demonstrated the existing need for dialogue on ways to remain articulate in the face of increasing right-wing slogans and hostility.
