RKW Sachsen-Anhalt GmbH is looking for reinforcement in the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus for the new position of Head of the WelcomeCentre Saxony-Anhalt at the earliest possible date.

Responsibilities:

Management of the WelcomeCentre Saxony-Anhalt

Management of the tasks in the WelcomeCentre team on the basis of management decisions or concept:

  • Internal: Management of the expanded WelcomeCentre team
  • External: external representation of the WelcomeCentre at events
  • Planning, preparation and implementation of team meetings and their follow-up, monitoring compliance with agreed stipulations
  • Independently coordinating with network partners and integrating the agreements made into the WelcomeCentre's work process
  • Developing and taking responsibility for own contributions to public relations work
  • Independently preparing presentations for events / company presentations
  • Ensuring the reporting obligation to the project management and the client as well as the quality of implementation
  • Coordinating and monitoring deadlines and checking milestones, including any necessary process adjustments in line with current conditions
  • Regional and supra-regional cooperation to gain and disseminate knowledge

Ensuring that the project objectives are achieved in the required quality and quantity

  • Ongoing monitoring of the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the WelcomeCentre
  • Ensuring the necessary documentation and timely reporting to the client
  • Training and, if necessary, organising the qualification of employees

Ensuring and initiating the necessary internal communication in the area of the WelcomeCentre in cooperation with U-Counselling and FK-Counselling

Networking at management level

  • Securing and establishing project-promoting contacts
  • Approaching and involving other partners in the activities of the project
  • Maintaining contact with institutions and regional multipliers in the context of securing skilled labour

Implementing cooperation at federal level in the context of coordinating tasks and activities

Regional and supra-regional cooperation (as part of the management tasks)

Participation in the network of nationwide WelcomeCentres (including Make it in Germany)

  • Contributing according to requirements (e.g. for the creation of common recommendations for action, etc.)
  • Exchange meetings of the steering group (2-3 times a year) to coordinate and plan further activities
  • Greater utilisation of structures (network moderators, materials, contacts, information) and implementation of relevant content in Saxony-Anhalt

Coordination and cooperation with relevant stakeholders at municipal level

  • Expansion and implementation of a permanent structure for newcomers, contact with municipal institutions for families (e.g. youth welfare offices, school authorities, regional alliances for families, housing providers) as well as mayors and district administrators. The focus here is on
  • Identifying contact persons for all relevant concerns of newcomers (social contacts, leisure, job, housing, voluntary work) and forwarding contacts to the internal interfaces and vice versa with the aim of pooling information
  • Anchoring the regional players on the WCST website
  • Anchoring the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus on the websites of the municipalities with the WelcomeCentre offer
  • Forwarding information about relevant innovations/changes from the municipalities to the WCST
  • Participation in returnee days to attract migrant skilled workers and their families
  • Deepening cooperation with the state's universities, in particular student counselling services and the Career Service

Analysing and initiating measures

  • Problem-related network design within the framework of pilot counselling (e.g. by involving partners, decision-makers)
  • Management of activities and support for companies in recruiting skilled labour and shaping family friendliness, taking into account the findings and results from the specialist units
  • Sensitising and advising internal structures (U and FK advisors)

Professionalisation of support services for companies on topics relating to family friendliness in the context of employer attractiveness

Requirements

  • Independent, topic- and process-organising work
  • Ensuring that the project's target groups, including the management of companies, are addressed appropriately and developing needs-based solution strategies and concepts
  • Organisation of a pilot process with the involvement of experts

Applicants with a university degree (Master's/Diploma) or other proven qualifications and experience that can be equated with a university degree.

  • Several years of professional experience (otherwise the expertise should be proven elsewhere),
  • good communication, networking and problem-solving skills,
  • strong knowledge and skills in the use of modern communication technology,
  • good command of written and spoken English and
  • strong social and professional intercultural skills
