The WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt cordially invites you to the online seminar “Between Skills Shortages and Diversity – Perspectives on a Culture of Welcome in Eastern Germany” on December 16, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The seminar is aimed at individuals who work in migration-related fields, whether full-time or as volunteers.
For the societal perspective, we are pleased to feature a presentation by Bianca Dülken (Minor – Science and Society). She will present a short paper analyzing the data and research foundations of welcoming culture in Saxony-Anhalt.
Kerstin Mogdans from the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt will shed light on the corporate perspective. She will share insights from practical experiences in companies: How is a welcoming culture lived out in everyday work life? What factors are crucial for the successful integration of immigrants?
In addition to these two presentations, we would like to make the seminar interactive and engage in a conversation with you. What experiences have you had in your own work? What does a welcoming culture mean to you personally—and what conditions are necessary for it?
Bring your perspectives and experiences with you—we look forward to an open and lively exchange!
Click here to register. The registration deadline is December 12, 2025.
You will receive the access link shortly before the seminar. The event is free of charge.
