How can local small and medium-sized businesses attract people with an immigrant background—whether from the local area or abroad—for training or employment? How can these individuals be retained and further supported? What support services are available in the Stendal district and the surrounding region?
Our population—and thus our workforce—is becoming increasingly diverse and international. Given the growing shortage of skilled workers and demographic change, we must actively seize this opportunity.
The Welcome Culture and Skilled Workforce Recruitment Network, the Stendal district, and the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt invite interested companies to the event “Finding and Retaining Foreign Skilled Workers”:
June 18, 2026, 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
at the Stendal District Office
Take this opportunity to connect with experts and other companies. Receive practical information on support and funding options for hiring, training, and integrating foreign skilled workers.
We will provide information on the current skilled worker situation in the Stendal district as well as practical support services tailored to your needs. Experts from the region and government representatives will be available for one-on-one discussions and will share insights on how to successfully integrate foreign skilled workers.
Participation is free of charge. Registration is available via this link.
You can view the program here.
We look forward to seeing you!
