This applies in particular to regulated professions such as geriatric caregiver, roofer, or pharmaceutical technician. In Saxony-Anhalt, the State School Authority of Saxony-Anhalt is responsible for recognizing high school diplomas.
If the State School Authority does not grant recognition of a school diploma, students can also earn one through evening schools, adult education centers, or other educational institutions. Generally, good language skills are required to follow the classes.
