Recognition Act
Under the Recognition Act, foreign professionals have the right to have the government assess whether their professional qualifications obtained abroad can be recognized as equivalent to the corresponding German reference qualifications. The assessment may result in a certification of “full equivalence,” “partial equivalence,” or “rejection” and contributes to greater transparency in the evaluation of foreign professional qualifications.
