The WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt supports local authorities and communities in establishing suitable welcome structures for returnees and people interested in moving from other federal states and abroad, and in promoting these structures. For many newcomers, especially families, the decision to move depends on the welcoming culture and cultural life, as well as the local infrastructure. Together, we analyze in discussions what potential exists or is still undiscovered that needs to be developed or emphasized more strongly. A good welcoming culture depends not only on investment, but also on people who show an open attitude.
