The WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt is the central point of contact and advice centre of the state of Saxony-Anhalt for skilled workers moving to Saxony-Anhalt from other federal states or from other countries, as well as for companies and individuals who are active in the area of labour market integration of immigrants on a voluntary or full-time basis.

As of 1 August 2025 or later, we are looking for reinforcement specifically for the focus on securing skilled workers through the integration of immigrants within the state initiative Fachkraft im Fokus in the Halle region.

Areas of responsibility

Target group of skilled workers interested in immigration and immigrants

• Approaching, counselling and, if necessary, supporting skilled workers interested in immigrating and their families who wish to move from abroad or other federal states in all areas relating to immigration
• Approaching and supporting skilled workers with a history of migration or flight who are already living in Germany in their integration into the labour market
• Recording skills profiles and developing individual integration strategies (including explaining the procedure for recognising existing qualifications and further training in the workplace), involving other experts

Target group companies

• Addressing and sensitising management and HR decision-makers in companies to the potential of foreign skilled workers
• Supporting companies willing to hire skilled workers
• Supporting the onboarding process, involving other experts as required

Requirements

• Independent, topic- and process-organising work
• Ensuring that the project's target groups, including the management of companies, are addressed appropriately and developing needs-based solution strategies and concepts
• Organisation of a pilot process with the involvement of experts

Applicants with a degree from a university or university of applied sciences and

• several years of professional experience (otherwise the expertise should be proven elsewhere),
• good communication skills, networking and problem-solving skills,
• strong knowledge and skills in the use of modern communication technology,
• good command of written and spoken English and
• strong social and professional intercultural skills
