German Residence Act (AufenthG)
The Residence Act forms the core of the Immigration Act and regulates, among other things, entry, residence and employment for individuals without German citizenship. The law also includes official goals and measures for the integration of immigrants. The Residence Act does not apply to individuals from other EU countries or diplomats.
