In Saxony-Anhalt there are many people involved in the integration of immigrants in to the employment market. The Netzwerk “Willkommenskultur und Fachkräftegewinnung” (“Welcome Culture and Recruitment of Qualified Specialists” Network) was established in 2014 in order to network with other committed people.  

At network meetings held several times a year, participants receive up-to-date specialist information and can network with each other. It also facilitates access to the target group.  

Members of the network are stakeholders who are committed to strengthening the welcoming culture. They come from regional and municipal authorities and employment services as well as advice centres for migration work and securing qualified specialists. Experts are available to help with everything from recruiting international talent and clarifying residence status to the use of language support programmes. Anyone who would like to make a contribution is cordially invited to become part of the network. Participation is voluntary and open to anyone who wants to get involved.

Once a year, the WelcomeCenter Saxony-Anhalt organises the event format "Finden und Binden von ausländischen Fachkräften" ("Finding and retaining foreign qualified specialists") in cooperation with the Netzwerk “Willkommenskultur und Fachkräftegewinnung”, which is aimed at companies in Saxony-Anhalt. The events take place at various locations in Saxony-Anhalt to present success stories from the region. At the same time, companies can exchange information with the responsible experts on site and discuss their questions directly.
